China is actively involved in international cooperation on wildlife conservation by expanding cooperative channels gradually. China has performed its obligation and set up a good image by its efforts in international cooperation, and so international society is understanding of China's standpoint, guideline and policy on wildlife conservation more and more deeply.

To enhance cooperation with international society on wildlife conservation, Chinese government joined the CITES and Ramsar Convention separately in 1981 and 1992, signed bilateral agreements on conservation 0f migratory birds and their habitats with the Japanese and Australia governments, and agreements on protection of tigers and their habitats with Indian and Russian governments.

Also, Chinese central governmental agency of wildlife conservation has established very good communication with many governmental organizations and international NGOs such as GEF,IUCN,WWF,WCS and WI etc. And received a lot of achievements on nature conservation from a series of international coactions.
