Rescuing and breeding wild
fauna

With completion of the 11 rescuing
and breeding wild animal centers, another 20 new
centers will be set up across the country.

Domestication and breeding |
| |
Under the relevant regulations and
policies, the project will build 500 breeding farms
and nature breeding bases. The types of wildlife
being domesticated would reach 50 so that the serious
scarcity of animal resources supply for economic
development could be relieved. By 2010, 19 integrated
zoos for wildlife will be established, which offer
scientific bases for academic research and economic
utilization.

Wise use and circulating system |

| In order to reduce the consumption
with poor value, a more effective circulating system
of wildlife products will be set up. Under the guideline
of economic-oriented markets, wildlife resources
could be consumed economically. |

| The success of the project mainly
relies on the basic scientific research and the
core task will lie in the establishment of gene
pools of wild life. |
